This is our snail ‘A Spin Around Brighton’,
sponsored by the wonderful Visit Brighton.
50 of these giant snails were painted for the Martlets Hospice in Brighton in 2018. They were then auctioned for the Charity and raised an amazing £231,400 in total!

A Spin Around Brighton
Experience our city through the unusual characters, architecture, wildlife and festivities which adorn this eclectic Snail. Artist Lauren Nickless captures a location’s unique character through her intricate compositions. She loves to travel and celebrates the places she visits with her vibrant prints, layering the many dimensions of city life. Her recent projects are Brighton-focused and capture everything from iconic architecture to local secrets. Nickless’ work challenges the idea of scale and there is always something new to discover with each viewing.
